A new film club concept.

Indie League started with a simple idea, get a group of creative people together who will brainstorm and produce short films on a regular basis. The idea is, with each completed project everyone gains knowledge, and by sticking to short films you can learn more in a shorter period of time.

What makes Indie League different.

If you're looking to get into indie film you'd probably see if there were any indie film clubs in your area. When you attend one of these you'll usually find a bunch of people who are already reasonably established with their own crew, cast and style of filmmaking. Generally these clubs more about showing off than collaboration. In our experience, it's not the most warm or friendly environment.

Indie League is about teamwork, collaboration and making everyone step outside of their comfort zone. Everyone sits around the table and discusses ideas, everyone's thoughts are considered. In the end everyone walks away with a greater sense of accomplishment and ownership of each project.

Everyone has the opportunity to do everything.

No matter what skills you think you bring to the table, Indie League lets you test your boundaries. If you want to direct, just tell us and you'll get a project to direct. If you want to write a script, just ask. The beauty is, we're all here to learn and we're all in the same boat so there's no fear of failure. If we do something we don't like we don't have to post it online, we can chalk it up to a learning experience.

Not everything in life needs to be a competition. Indie League fosters a creative environment with respect for every member's ideas and talents. We provide a friendly, laid back atmosphere that makes it easy for the creativity to flow.
